Privacy
Consultations ask for details that are personal. This page says what is stored, who sees it, and how to ask for it to be deleted.
What is collected
When you request a consultation, the site stores the fields on that form. For a live session that includes the spellings of your name, your date of birth, gender, the reason you are booking, your preferred way to meet, an optional WhatsApp number, your email, city, and country, and the time you chose. For a written consultation it includes the purpose you selected and the dates, names, or numbers that purpose asks for, plus your email, city, and country.
The contact form stores your name, email, and message. The server also records the time of the request. Payment is handled by Razorpay. We store the payment reference, the status, and the amount in rupees. We do not store your card number or UPI PIN.
Why it is collected
Vevek Goel uses it to prepare and deliver the consultation, to email you about review, payment, and confirmation, and to keep a private record of the work. It is not sold, and it is not added to an advertising list.
Who can see it
Birth details, name spellings, and the question you asked are visible in the private admin. They are not shown on any public page. A confirmation page you open with your private link shows the reference, the status, the fee, and the appointment time. It does not repeat your date of birth or the question.
Testimonials appear on the site only after Vevek publishes words a client has given, with the name he is allowed to use.
How long it is kept
Consultation records are kept so he can refer to the work he has done with you. Payment records are kept as needed for accounts. You may email consultant@vgastrro.com to ask for a copy of your consultation record, or for it to be deleted, except where a payment record has to be retained.
Cookies
The site sets a cookie that protects forms from forged submissions, and a login cookie for the admin. There are no advertising cookies.
Security
The admin is password protected, and the site is meant to be served over HTTPS once it is on the public domain. No method of transmission or storage on the internet is completely secure. By sending a form you accept that residual risk.
